I was thrilled by my stay! Exactly what I was looking for, which is often hard to find: a simple, clean, private stay for an affordable rate. I felt especially comfortable having physical sets of keys to various door locks between the ground and the room I stayed in. On top of that I was enthralled with the beauty of the historic buildings--the Farrington itself as well as the rest of the area! I loved seeing an old rotary phone in the Farrington. Being able to wash and dry my wardrobe after being soaked in the nor'easter made this an above and beyond experience for me. Totally memorable! I resolved to return as soon as I checked out. :)

This place was great!! The staff was amazing! They let me keep my belongings there while I went to get more money for the next night. Most places wouldn't do that and I appreciate that so much especially with snow up to my knees in February. Even though I had a shared bathroom, I didn't mind at all. My room is huge on the third floor it was the top floor, and I had two king size beds a kitchenette a huge flat screen TV it was so awesome! We stayed there for about a week, and we didn't have to pay every night up front as we were homeless at the time, and we play music to get some extra money and we had some friends Western Union as well but the fact they let us leave our stuff there in the room or behind the counter was really awesome I will never forget that kindness. I would definitely stay there again.

Traveled for 2 nights to race at a track meet close by. The inn was perfect in terms of a great place to stay near the track while also being affordable. Obviously it isn’t some super fancy hotel, I wouldn’t pay to stay here if I was looking for that. It has its flaws but it was perfect for what I was looking for. We also got upgraded when we got there to have the private bath which was great. I had my doubts going in, but it was much better than I anticipated. I also would highly recommend the private bath room as it isn’t that much more expensive and was pretty well kept.

Superb location & deal - really close to BU and at the edge of Allston / close to West Cambridge, MA. *Think it's a great spot if you're visiting BU. Helpful & Efficient staff, studio style or more basic rooms available. Quieter neighborhood in Allston -- and can still easy access the night life and restaurants.

It was the worst hotel I've ever been to in my life. I'm so angry with myself for making me experience this. Don't waste your money and don't go to this hotel.
